Tawakkul on Allah
Is it right to place ones tawakkul on Allah and get married despite not being ready financially, and not being able to afford a place for ones wife to stay (even a rented house). I am currently working and staying with my parents and i contribute to the expenses of the household. Our house is small, but the problem is; in todays generation girls prefer to live separately from inlaws. So is it the right way of placing our trust in Allah just by marrying and expect doors to open for us?

Tawakkal (trust) in Almighty Allāh is vital in every situation of our life, whether wealthy or poor, sick or healthy. Financial support and maintenance (Nafaqah) is exclusive responsibility of the husband. In your situation we advice you to look for a partner that will be compatible with your financial status. She should be aware that she will be with her in-laws under one roof.
Keep on making Duā that Allāh bestow you with a loving, caring pious wife. You may read two Raka’āt Salātul Hājāt everyday and some Ulamā out of their experience had requested to read 21 times Surah Alif Lām Mīm Sajdah everyday for a compatible partner.
Allāh Ta’ālā knows best.
